Just a couple of weeks ago there was a rumor that Gameloft was working on Brothers in Arms: Hour of Heroes for the iPhone and iPod Touch, and soon after that we had the first details and footage of this stunning World War II title. The game contains 14 missions in 3 compaigns, namely Normandy, Ardennes and Tunisia. The game has great 3D graphics recreating the atmosphere of a real Hollywood WWII blockbuster. Players can drive 4×4 vehicule or a Sherman tank and use weapons like a sniper rifle, machine guns, a bazooka and many others. The accelerometer is being used to launch grenades, aiming at enemies needs to be done with via the touch-screen. Brothers in Arms: Hour of Heroes is now available in the App Store for $9.99.

A few days ago we reported that Gameloft is working on Brothers in Arms: Hour of Heroes for iPhone and iPod Touch. Today Gameloft released more information on the game and a video showing some neat footage of the game popped up on YouTube. You play as Jason Becker, a soldier of the 101st Airborne division. You’ll have to battle your way through Normandy, Ardennes and Tunisia in the fourteen missions of the game. The game combines objectives on foot with driving 4×4 vehicles and Sherman Tanks. Brothers in Arms: Hour of Heroes is due to come out in December this year.
Hero of Sparta for iPhone
According to The Guardian, Gameloft will release two big iPhone and iPod Touch games by the end of this year. The first title is Brothers in Arms: Hour of Heroes, a third-person WWI shooter with onfoot shoting and some driving action as well. The game uses a virtual D-pad for controlling your character in the game. The second game is Hero of Sparta, a 3D hack-n-slash game with an onscreen D-pad and contextual options to attack, defend, change weapons and so on.
